Al Helfgot joined Deutsch, Levy & Engel, Chartered in 2003 as a Principal. Al's practice is concentrated in the field of banking, in which he represents a number of banks in commercial loan transactions, including construction and development loans, industrial revenue bond financing and large syndicated loans. As a result of Al's experience as in-house bank counsel and general counsel for several financial institutions, his expertise extends to regulatory matters and general banking operations. In addition to his banking practice, Al represents clients in the acquisition, development and sale of commercial real estate.
