Frank Cohen has been a Principal of Deutsch, Levy & Engel, Chartered since 1982. Frank worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for six years as a Revenue Agent, Hearing Officer and Instructor while attending John Marshall Law School. Prior to his work with the IRS, he was a principal at Panter, Nelson & Bernfield.
Frank concentrates in the fields of federal taxation, real estate law, corporate law, estate planning and probate. He represents a number of real estate developers and syndicators, and has prepared numerous private placement offering memorandums for both real estate and non-real estate investments. In addition, Frank is active in both civil and criminal tax litigation matters, and has lectured before various professional and civic groups in the area of federal taxation. He is active in numerous civic and religious organizations.
