Professional Bio

Jeffrey Schiller joined Deutsch, Levy & Engel, Chartered in 2006 and is a Principal. Jeff concentrates his practice in intellectual property litigation, commercial litigation (including contract, fraud, securities, shareholder, distributorship and other matters), appeals, employment matters, and First Amendment and defamation disputes, representing both businesses and individuals.In litigating intellectual property matters, Jeff's experience includes patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition litigation. Jeff has successfully represented multi-national corporations, as well as national and closely held companies, in protecting and enforcing trademarks, copyrights, trade dress and other statutory and common law protections, and in defending these clients against claims that they had infringed patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and/or trade dress belonging to others. Jeff has been a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), a world-wide intellectual property organization, for 14 years, and has been active in leadership throughout much of that time.
