DLE Partners, Phillip J. Zisook and Brian D. Saucier recently defended clients accused of defamation, false light invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, arising from posts to an allegedly “fake” Facebook page purporting to be that of the Plaintiff.  Doe v. R.C., et. al.,  docketed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division as Case No. 2009 L 011298.  Following the briefing of our Motion to Dismiss the Plaintiff’s Complaint and the closure of written discovery, the case was settled to the mutual satisfaction of the parties.
