On June 17, 2011, Emily N. Masalski received the Illinois State Bar Association Young Lawyer of the Year Award (Cook County) at an awards luncheon held in conjunction with the ISBA Annual meeting.  Each spring the ISBA Young Lawyers Division recognizes two outstanding young lawyers – one practicing outside Cook County and one practicing within Cook County -- in recognition of significant dedication and contribution to the legal profession.  

Ms. Masalski currently serves as an ISBA Assembly member (2010-2013), member of the Standing Committee on Women and the Law (2008-2012), Co-Editor of The Catalyst, the newsletter of the Standing Committee on Women & the Law, member of the Environmental Law Section Council (2010-2011), Illinois Bar Foundation Silver Fellow.
