Emily Masalski joined Deutsch, Levy & Engel as an Associate in 2007. She focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and environmental law. Prior to joining the firm, Emily was an agency attorney for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Wastewater Treatment Bureau. She also completed several legal internships for organizations including the Illinois Attorney General's Office (Environmental Enforcement Division), the New York County District Attorney's Office, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. Emily is active in various bar associations and served as a member of the ABA Law Student Division Board of Governors and the New York City Bar Association's Young Lawyers Committee.
Emily is the author of Seek power: A woman lawyer’s guide to self-promotion, published in The Catalyst (December 2009) and she was selected for inclusion in the 2010 Illinois Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition in the category of environmental litigation.
