DARING WORKS, COMMUNITY STANDARDS AND OBSCENITY

DLE attorney Brian Saucier has published a new article on the Creator Law blog (you can read it here) about the United States Supreme Court’s evolving standards regarding the definition of obscenity, the determination of whether material is “obscene” and therefore unprotected by the First Amendment, and the application of community standards. Creator Law is blog discussing legal and business issues for writers, artists, and other creators. The article was also re-published by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
