Dennis E. Frisby
Prior to joining Deutsch, Levy & Engel in 1994, Dennis Frisby worked for the Internal Revenue Service in the Chicago Appellate Division, where he earned the United States Department of the Treasury Certificate of Award for outstanding service. Dennis practices in the area of tax law and estate planning, and represents clients in multi-million dollar estate and tax cases before the IRS, the Illinois Department of Revenue, and the United States Tax Court.
In his estate planning practice, Dennis assists individuals and families in preparing wills, establishing trusts and developing strategies to meet family and tax objectives. His clients range from highly-compensated employees, closely-held business owners, and professionals to those of modest means. His practice also includes counseling clients in probate matters and business transactions.
Dennis has published articles on tax subjects in the Illinois CPA Society News Journal, where he served on the Federal Income Tax Committee. He is the author of a chapter on tax injunctions in the “Federal Civil Tax Practice Handbook” published by the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and also lectured as a Federal Tax Instructor for the Independent Accountants Association.
