Jerry Rudman concentrates his practice on a broad range of business acquisitions and combinations, estate planning, commercial leasing and financing transactions, and structuring business transactions and relationships of all types. Jerry assists businesses on all types of contractual matters such as agreements between co-owners of closely held entities, manufacturing and sales agreements, distributor and representative agreements, non-competition provisions, and employment arrangements. Family run businesses have relied upon Jerry through multiple generations to provide practical guidance on day-to-day legal issues and advice on ownership transitions to ensure future growth and stability. Jerry advises landlords and tenants on real estate matters, including negotiation and documentation of leases. He also assists clients, from high net worth to those of modest means, in creating and implementing estate plans to maintain assets and provide for family needs in the future.
Jerry has taught business law courses in contract law, Uniform Commercial Code law, and partnership and corporate law at William Rainey Harper College, Palatine, Illinois and was employed as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
