Lauren B. Wright
Lauren Wright joined Deutsch, Levy & Engel in 2017 and practices in the areas of litigation and business transactions. Lauren has litigated several matters involving breach of contract, estates and trusts, and tort claims, including a high-profile defamation case. In her corporate practice, Lauren assists clients in drafting contracts, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, and corporate resolutions and minutes. She also advises client on matters involving minority and women-owned business (MBE and WBE) certifications as well as property tax exemptions.
During law school, Lauren clerked at an employment law firm and assisted with issues involving non-competes, employment agreements, unpaid wages and overtime, discrimination, and wrongful termination and retaliation claims. Lauren also participated in the Reparations Clinic where she assisted in reviewing claims under the City of Chicago’s financial reparations ordinance.
